Dos’

1. Make a checklist : Always make a checklist of the exercises you gonna hit in the gym. This will save your time in the gym and help you in making things sorted to you in the gym
2. Set Goals: Your goals should be realistic and you should take ample of time to complete that goal, fitness is something which should be dealt with patience and consistency.
3. Warm up before hitting weights : Start with some weight free warm up exercises such as folding your arms, rotating your shoulders and neck.
4. Workout under an expert guidance : You should workout under someone who is professional and can train you with proper techniques and save you from getting injured. 
5. Eat some complex carbs before gym : Take complex carbs such as oatmeal, poha, peanut butter etc before going to gym, empty stomach workout can cause you nausea. Also it will maintain the energy level throughout the workout.
6. Mind muscle coordination: Complete your exercises with proper focus on your muscles. Coordination between mind and muscle makes your workout more effective.
7. Always push yourself: Always push yourself for that one rep more. Gradually this will become a habit and you will end up increasing your strength, endurance and ability.
8. Keep intensity high: No matters how long do you workout but what matters is the intensity you keep throughout the session.
9. Stretching post workout: Stretch your joints and muscles post workout to avoid soreness and injury.
10. Rest and recovery: Take proper nutrition and rest for muscle recovery which will further help in muscle building.

Don’ts

1. Don’t rush for quick results: Results doesn’t come overnight, it takes a lot of hardwork and patience.
2. Don’t compare your results with someone else’s : Everyone has their own way of doing things, different body type, different circumstances and offcourse different purpose and goals. That’s why focus on your progress only.
3. Don’t over train: Your body has limited abiity to sock things in, don’t over train because it can lead to negative effects.
4. Don’t ego lift: Just to seek someone’s attention nd validation or to be better than someone working out in the gym it is useless to ego lift because it can lead to injury.
5. Don’t overhydrate while workout: Don’t drink too much of water during workout because it causes bloating which will create discomfort while working out.
